Jammu, Apr 05: J&K BJP led by its State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul along with State Incharge All Cells, S. Varinderjit Singh convened a meeting of state convenors of all cells of BJP. The meeting concentrated on organizational matters, with threadbare discussions on the present assignments undertaken by the various cells as well as discussion of forthcoming party programmes.
While addressing the meeting, Ashok Kaul threw light on the importance of various cells for the growth of the organization. He said that efficient working by various Cells ensure the reach of party’s policies to every single community member of the concerned cell. He also said that the Cells give the respective communities a forum to present and discuss their issues. He also prompted all the convenors of Cells to complete their teams up to the district level on priority basis to serve the purpose of their formation. He deliberated how the opposition parties are hell bent to misinformation campaign against the present popular dispensation and emphasized the role of Cells to counter the same. He also threw light on the forthcoming party programmes.
S. Varinderjit Singh threw light on the various achievements of the party’s cells. He said that BJP is the only party which has got true democracy in its foundation and has been exemplary in its approach for the welfare of the poor, which is appreciably augmented by the efforts of the cells. He appreciated the move of the J&K government which has positively approached the issues of PoJK refugees and the ensured the relief dispensation to the aggrieved. He said that soon the party’s cell will organize a mega programme for the beneficiaries of the relief at R. S. Pura. He also said that these type of programmes will be held in other regions as well.
The convenors of various cells also threw light on various programmes undertaken by their respective cells and discussed their issues witht eh leadership.
Adv. Onkar Seth, Kulbhushan Mohtra, Pt. Ashok Khajuria, V. K. Sethi, H. S. Pammi, Darshan Singh, Vijay Sharma, Govind Sareen, Deepak Gupta, Devinder Sigh Dutta, Deepak Kapahi (CA), Bal Krishan Kaul and Sanjay Khanna were present in the meeting.
