Srinagar, Apr 27: Body of a 52-year-old villager was found hanging from a tree on Friday in an orchard in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, official sources said.
They said panic gripped in Wahbugh Dangerpora in Pulwama when some people found body hanging from a tree in an orchard.
The body was brought down and taken away by police for identification, they said, adding that later the deceased was identified as Abdul Ahad Dar, a resident of a local village.
It was not immediately clear whether it was a suicide or a murder, they said, adding that police has registered a case and started investigation. UNI
