Srinagar, Apr 27 : Risking his life a 42-year-old villager killed a leopard to save his family in the north Kashmir district of Kupwara early Friday morning.
Police said that a leopard entered the house of one Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh at Muqam Awoora in Kupwara from nearby forest when the family was in sleep. However, before the leopard could attack his family, the house owner fought with leopard and finally killed the wild animal.
Sheikh was received injuries during the fight, police said adding the villagers immediately took him to local hospital from where he was referred to Srinagar, where his condition is stated to be critical.UNI
