BANDIPORA, APRIL
12: On the instructions of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, the District
Development Commissioner Bandipora, Khursheed Ahmad Sanai along with a team of
Officers today visited Kishenganga Power Project site Kralpora.
The DDC inspected
the orchard and agricultural land where the residents of
the village have the apprehension of seepage from the project tunnel.
While interacting with the locals, the DDC assured the affectees of proper
compensation.
The DDC, on the
occasion, directed for Constitution of a Committee comprising Officers from
Revenue, Agriculture, Horticulture, Flood control and NHPC and directed them to
prepare the list of loses and submit the cases to the concerned authorities for
compensation.
Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Tehsildar,
Exen I&FC and GM NHPC accompanied the DDC.
