SAMBA APRIL 12:
District Administration Samba today organised a day long facilitation camp at
Panchayat Barota, Tehsil Ramgarh for displaced persons of 1947, 1965 and 1971.
Large number of
people from panchayat halqas Barota, Rangoor, Khanpur and Kamore attended the
camp.
A
team of revenue officials led by Deputy Commissioner Samba S. Rajinder Singh
Tara, Assistant Commissioner (Rev.), Waseem Raja, Tehsildar Head Quarter, Lekh
Raj and Tehsildar Ramgarh, Romesh Bakshi assisted the claimants and on spot
approve 55 DP files in which an amount of Rs. 2.5 crore is involved.
The Deputy
Commissioner directed officials to fast track disposal of pending cases and
ensure that maximum cases are cleared in these revenue camps.
Deputy
Commissioner asked claimant to approach revenue authorities in case any
clarification is required and assured that their cases are being followed on regular
basis.
