LEH, APRIL 10: Police
Post Choglamsar received a written report from one NawangNamgail S/o Sonam
Tundup owner of S.D Communication ChoglamsarZampa, stating therein that during
the intervening night of 8/9 April 2018 some unknown persons have entered into
his shop located at ChoglamsarZampa by breaking the window from back side and
stolen mobile phones and accessories worth Rs. 80,000/-.
On receipt of his information case FIR No. 30/2018
U/S 457,380 PRC registered in P/S Leh and Police team from PP Choglamsar led by
ASI Mohd Ali visited the spot, collected evidences and questioned some
suspected persons. During questioning one suspected namely Omar Farooq S/o
Faroq Ahmed R/o Channapora Chadoora district Budgam presently trunk maker
Choglamsar, confessed of his involvement in committing the offence.
Subsequently on his disclosure stolen properties
worth Rs. 80,000/- were recovered from his rented room at Choglamsar. District Police
Leh solved the theft case within six hours of
its reporting to Police.

of PP Choglamsar.
