Nagpur, Apr 6: Maharashtra State Backward Class Commission will organise a public hearing here
on April 11 to know the Maratha community's educational and economic
backwardness status.
The public hearing will be held before
Maharashtra State Backward Class Commission Chairman Justice (retired ) M G
Gaikwad, at Ravi Bhavan from 1100 hrs to 1700 hrs.
During the hearing, the information regarding Maratha community’s social, educational, economic backwardness will be gathered in form of memorandums submitted by persons, organisations and social bodies.
Along with Maharashtra State Backward Class Commission Chairman,others expert members will be Dr Sarjerao Nimse, Secretary D D Deshmukh, Prof Chandrashekhar Deshpande, Dr Dattatraya Balsaraf, Pramod Yewale, Rohidas Jadhav, Sudhir Thakare, Dr Suvarna Rawal,Prof Raja Karpe, Dr Bhushan V Kardile.
Written evidence, historical information through memorandums should be presented before the commission by persons, organisations and bodies from within the Nagpur revenue area, the State Backward Class Commission Member Secretary D D Deshmukh said. UNI
