Bicycles among the fishermen community of Bandipora constituency at a function
held at Fish HacheryShokbaba Bandipora. The function was organized by Fisheries
Department Bandipora under Blue Revolution Scheme.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that there
is a tremendous scope of fish farming in the district owing to its natural
water resources. He impressed upon the concerned Officers to initiate a mass
awareness programme in the district regarding various schemes launched by the
government for the welfare of fishermen community.
He appealed youth to avail benefits from various
welfare schemes and boost the fisheries sector, adding that every kind of
technical guidance and financial assistance is available for them.
