Taxi union leader shot dead at his home

Kolkata, Apr 10: Trinamool Congress affiliated taxi union leader Samir Mistry was shot dead by some unidentified miscreants at his South 24 Pargaganas' Sonampur home, police investigating the murder said today.

He was shot at while having dinner around 2300 hours in his home when some miscreants fired at him from outside of the window.
He was taken to a private hospital on EM Bypass where he was declared dead.
