Hyderabad, Apr 10: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated
the 28 Special Composite Group (SCG) complex of the National Security Guards at
Ibrahimpatnam, near here on Tuesday.
The state-of-the-art centre spread over 200
acres campus comprises residential, office accommodation, modern training
facilities including baffle firing range, indoor shooting range, 26 obstacles,
swimming pool, sports complex and artificial rock craft wall.The work on the complex which began in 2013 at a cost of over Rs.157 crore has been developed as a "Green Campus".
According to the complex officials, the 28 SCG complex has become a model regional hub of the NSG, which will help in honing the professional acumen of the NSG commandos.
Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy was among the dignitaries who were present on the occasion. UNI
