VC SKUAST-J briefs Governor

JAMMU, APRIL 13: Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu (SKUAST-J), met Governor N. N. Vohra, Chancellor of the University at the  Raj Bhavan and briefed him about various important academic and administrative matters relating to the functioning of the University and the Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) in the Jammu Division.

Governor advised Dr. Sharma to focus on region - specific technological options with the clear objective of working for securing the target of doubling the farmers’ incomes. He stressed the high importance of sustained high attention being paid towards improving the teaching programmes and achieving tangible outcomes in all the research programmes which benefit agriculture and its allied sectors in the Jammu region.
