Vietnam has strong defence relations with India: Ton Sinh Thanh

Kolkata, Apr 05: Vietnam has very strong defence relations with India in several areas, including supplies, Ambassador of Vietnam Ton Sinh Thanh said.

He said this when asked if Vietnam was buying the Akash missile system from India on the sidelines of an interactive session at the Merchants' Chambers of Commerce here on Wednesday.
The top diplomat told that Vietnam and India have a robust strategic partnership to ensure peace and stability in the region when asked about his country's stand in the south-east region.
"I have said many times that Vietnam is committed to a strong strategic partnership with India for maintaining peace and stability in the region for the benefit of both the countries." UNI
