Bengaluru, Apr 19: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Thursday asserted that Karnataka
should vote BJP to power if it should gain from the policies and programmes of
the Narendra Modi led NDA government at the Centre.

BJP Chief Ministerial Canditate B S Yeddyurappa who will filing his nomination
papers today at Shikaripur in Shivammoga District talking to newsmen here said
the Siddaramaiah government had miserably failed during the last five years in protecting the interests of farmers, women and the backward
classes. Benefits of the central government had not reached the targeted groups
and women feel insecure in the state. He also brought into focus the deaths of
25 BJP/RSS supporters and said hindus too are not safe at the hands of the
Congress government.

He said the Siddaramaiah government had put in cold storage the 1600 mw pit head power project for which he had signed an MoU with the Karnataka Government when Mr Yeddyurappa was in power. UNI
