KATHUA, MAY 28: A programme
based on devotional songs was today organized by the District Information
Centre, Kathua here at the Home for the Aged and Infirm.
The artists of
Information Department rendered their soulful compositions to the delight of
the inmates.
Secretary of the
Old Age Home, Jagan Nath was the chief guest on this occasion.
Devotional songs
in Dogri, Punjabi and Hindi were presented by Joginder Kumar, Vikram
Charbathia, Lovely, Sindhu, Ramesh Lal and Rishi Kapoor, which were applauded
and enjoyed by the audience.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary of the Old Age Home welcomed and
thanked the Information Department for organizing the programmes for the
inmates and appealed to hold more such events. He also expressed gratitude to
the singers for their performances.
