Rani Blowria chairs Ethics Committee meeting

SRINAGAR, MAY 28: A meeting of the Committee on Ethics of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council was held here today under the chairpersonship of MLC, Rani Gargi Blowria.

Threadbare discussions were held on various issues pertaining to the functioning of Ethics Committee besides moral and ethical values of the Legislators in and outside the House.

Legislators, Showkat Hussain Ganai and Ghulam Nabi Monga gave their valuable suggestions regarding the working of the Committee.

Additional Secretary, Council Secretariat Ali Mohammad Dar and Deputy Secretary Council Secretariat, Muni Koul briefed the Committee about the functioning and other aspects of the Committee.

The Chairpersons of the Committee sought further suggestions from the members of the Committee and asked the senior officers of Council Secretariat to provide all relevant record pertaining to the members.

Among others, the senior officers and officials of Council Secretariat were also present in the meeting.
