RAJOURI, MAY 09: District Disaster Management Authority today
handed over a rescue van to the District Police which will be utilised for
emergency operations as well as traffic management on roads.
Chairman DDMA (Deputy Commissioner) Rajouri Dr
Shahid Iqbal Choudhary handed over the rescue cum recovery van to Sr
Superintendent of Police Yougal Manhas in presence of ADC Sher Singh, SP
Traffic Mushtaq Choudhary, ARTO Neeraj Sharma and other officers from
department.
DDMA is also in process of providing another rescue
cum recovery van to police, which will be useful in emergency operations
related to road accidents, natural disasters as well as lifting of
unauthorisedlly parked vehicles from notified no-parking zones.
