Chennai, May 15 :  Extending his greetings to BJP leader B S Yeddiyurappa, who is all set to form the next government in Karnataka following his party's remarkable win in the Assembly poll, DMK Working President M K Stalin urged him to soon release Cauvery waters to Tamil Nadu.
Mr Stalin tweeted 'on behalf of DMK, I extend my congratulations to Mr Yeddyurappa for winning the Karnataka Assembly election and is set to form the next government'.
He hoped that the new BJP-government that would assume office in Karnataka would have cordial relations with neighbouring Tamil Nadu by not violating the final orders of the Supreme Court on the Cauvery issue.UNI
