SRINAGAR, JUNE 18: Khawaja Farooq Renzushah, Chairman Kashmir Society
International called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan today.
Khawaja Renzushah apprised the Governor about the
continuing activities and the contributions made by Kashmir Society
International in spreading the message of love and brotherhood in the society.
Sh. Renzushah apprised Governor about the problems
of the majority of newspapers in the State, which are on the verge of closure
because of the existing media policies, and urged an urgent review of the
problems faced by the media to enable its unhampered growth.
He thanked Governor for his efforts in making the teaching of Kashmiri and
other local languages compulsory, which has helped to protect the
linguistic identity of all provinces of
the three regions of
the state.
Appreciating Khwaja Renzushah’s
zeal in promoting harmony and literary activities in the State Governor urged
him to vigorously continsrue his endeavours.
