BJP conducts block meeting at Khour

Jammu, July 09: Block level meeting was conducted by BJP at Khour, Chamb to discuss the strategy for upcoming Parliamentary elections in the country. BJP State Secretary & State Incharge Election Related Matters, Rajinder Sharma and MLA Khour Dr. Krishan Bhagat along with other senior leaders addressed the party activists on the occasion.

While addressing the meeting, Rajinder Sharma focussed on the strengthening of the booth level structure of the organization as the BJP has to gear for the upcoming Parliamentary election. He stressed on the quality while forming the Navrattan (Nine gems) at each booth. He said that every activist marks the symbol of the party and thus be strictly chosen according to the high ethics and working principle. He said that different jobs to be assigned to these Navrattans is to coordinate the six programmes of the party, conduct programmes of Mann Ki Baat (the popular programme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for direct interaction with the common masses) alongside the Booth President and Booth Paalak. He also asked for the allocation of other important jobs to the specific persons like downloading of NaMo App, identifying the target population as worthy beneficiaries Government sponsored schemes etc.

Dr. Krishan Bhagat in his address prompted the activists to follow the principle of “Sab ka Sath, Sabka Vikas” and  take the government sponsored schemes to the doorsteps of every individual so that development can reach very corner of the state. He also assured the activists of every possible assistance from his side as an MLA for the welfare of the society and prompted them to raise the issues of general masses before party leadership.

District President Manmohan Singh thanked all BJP leaders and activists for their active interaction in the meeting.

State Media Secretary Suraj Singh, State President BJP SC Morcha Jagdish Bhagat, Pawan Gupta, Kamal Bhagat, Mandal Presidents G.S. Chib, Jagan Nath Sharma, Ramesh Sharma, Darshan Singh, Ram Krishan Sharma, Rattan Singh, Deepak Singh, Niku Ram Bhagat were among the other prominent BJP leaders present in the meeting conducted at Chamb.
