CADD centre makes presence in Udhampur

Jammu, July 09: Facility will encourage employability amongst technocrats: Yudhvir Sethi

State BJP Vice President Yudhvir Sethi today said given the number of prestigious projects underway in Jammu and Kashmir State including tunnels and bridges, there's a tremendous scope of CADD trained engineers who could use modern designing techniques to make state of the art marvels with utmost precision. Yudhvir Sethi was addressing a gathering of engineers and civil society members after inaugurating CADD Centre at Gari, Udhampur today.

Congratulating the proprietor of CADD centre for providing people of Udhampur state of the art learning facility, Yudhvir Sethi said having 30 years of experience in providing skill development courses to Engineers & Architects the new centre at Udhampur will help technocrats have employability in prestigious organisations in a much better way.

Chairperson CADD Centre and state awardee entrepreneur of state Anjali Chopra on the occassion  Said that CADD Offers training on AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Revit, MX Road & MS Project to Architects & Civil  Engineers. Courses like Solid works, CATIA, ANSYS for Mechanical Engineers are also provided by CADD Centre to make engineers employable. After learning computer aided designing these skills, students can get jobs easily.

Yudhvir Sethi said proposed Zojilla Tunnel, mega bridges, ring roads, lifts and cable car projects are all coming up in Jammu and Kashmir State besides architects and mechanical engineers are designing houses on CADD and even in medical profession this software is being used to design artificial limbs. Now that CADD centre has come up in Udhampur it is hoped that more and more students and technocrats will be benefited.

Yudhvir Sethi added that fee structure should be reasonable besides concessional for students of colleges so that more and more people are enrolled for specialised courses. He said CADD designed project reports should also be displaced for people's viewing so that they can get to know how the software helps in building everything precisely. BJP leaders Ramesh Gupta, Sushant Ji and prominent citizens of the area  of Garhi Udhampur were present on the occasion.
