Jammu, July 20: Dance Day was celebrated in Pushap Vatika (A unit of
Shiksha Niketan with great zest and zeal through a special assembly presented
by the students of Ankur Standard.
Dance day was dedicated to dance,
dancers and dance enthusiasts. This was a day not only to entertain but also to
educate students about the art form, making them more appreciative of the
world of dance.
The Modernites also grooved to the
popular global dance forms like Contemporary, Jass and fusion. The students
thoroughly enjoyed the foot tapping music along with exquisite dance forms. The
splendid event reiterated the fact that dance not only helps in expressing
emotions but also relax our mind, body and soul.
Incharge of the Wing Mrs. Sushma Sharma appreciated the
efforts of the students and motivated everyone to take part in Co- Curricular
activities.
