Badaun (UP), Jul 28: A minor girl was allegedly raped by a man in a village here, police said today.
The victim had yesterday gone with her mother, who works as a farm labourer, when a land owner asked her to go inside a room for some work and allegedly raped the girl, Superintendent of Police (rural) Surindra Pratap Singh said.
The girl's mother has given her complaint to police, and the accused has been nabbed, the SP said.
The victim has been sent for medical examination, he said. (PTI)
