Demise of DK Ved condoled

JAMMU, JULY 17: The Forest department today condoled the demise of D.K.Ved, former IFS Officer here at a condolence meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Conservator of Forests, Jammu Sameer Bharti.

The condolence meeting was attended by Regional Heads   including   Praveen Raghav, Regional Director, Social Forestry Jammu, Mohan Das, Conservator of Forests, East Circle, Jatinder, Conservator Forests. West Circle, Rajouri, Conservator of Forests, Chenab Circle, ShewtaJandial, Joint Director, Soil & Water Conservation Department,  SatPaul,  DFO Jammu, Anup Kumar Soni, DFO Urban Forestry Division, Tahir Shawl, Regional Wildlife Warden and others.

The participants recalled the contribution of D.K. Ved through his work on medicinal plants when he was working with FRUIT Bangalore. He was recently nominated as member of ICFRE Society by the Ministry of Environment & Forest Govt. of India. The meeting prayed to the almighty to rest his noble soul in eternal peace.
