today.

The

of seamless digital payment to people in a convenient manner.
On the
occasion, the DDC said that the digidhan mission will not only work on
spreading literacy about online payments but will also undertake promotion of
best practices, processes, adoption and on-boarding systems across the
ecosystem for a wide and quick uptake.
He said
that with this move, the beneficiaries now need not move to the offices for
payment and department will directly transfer payment to their already linked
bank accounts.
“This
step will not only ease out the whole process of disbursing payment to the
beneficiaries but also remove the hurdles and makes it paperless besides
eliminating delays in payment,” he added.
The DDC
said that the measure will usher in much-needed transparency and funds will
reach to the real beneficiaries on the ground.
