parcel to postal department
KATHUA, AUGUST
30: To minimize footfall of the applicants in RTO office, Regional
Transport Office Kathua today started postal delivery of Registration
Certificates of vehicles.
District
Development Commissioner Rohit Khajuria formally handed over parcel of 27
Registration Certificates to the postal department.
Speaking on
the occasion, he said that the delivery of registration
certificates at the doorsteps would greatly help the service seekers. He said
the object of this service was to save time of the applicants as well as to
minimize the footfall in the RTO office.

K. Thapa informed that the Transport Department has signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) with Postal Department to ensure quick and fast delivery of
Registration Certificates of the vehicles on the line of Driving Licenses at
the doorsteps of the applicant. He also handed over 332 Driving Licenses to the
postal authorities.
Assistant Superintendent of Posts Jammu-Kathua G.N Bhatt, Head Post
Master Kathua and ARTO Kathua were also present.
