DC reviews performance of Health, PHE departments

POONCH, AUGUST 30: District Development Commissioner Rahul Yadav reviewed the performance of Health and PHE departments including status of upcoming projects under the twin sectors.

Reviewing health sector, the DDC sought detailed status of projects taken up under district plan, NABARD, BADP District Sector, BADP State Sector, NHM, PMDP, TSP etc.

The meeting was attended by CMO Dr Mumtaz Bhatti, XEN PWD(R&B) Surinder Singh Aandhi, AEEs (R&B) of Mendhar, Mandi and Surankote were present during the meeting.

The DDC stressed upon the Executing Agencies for timely completion of works which involve minor funding.

Meanwhile, the DC took review of projects under PHE sector in a separate meeting attended by XEN Rajinder Sharma and JEs of various areas.

The meeting was informed that against the total requirement of 87 Lakh gallon, the department supplies 70 Lakh gallons.

 The DC directed the concerned officials to check all pumping stations and take measures for augment the existing supply. He also directed the concerned officials to regularize all water connections in Mendhar, Surankote and Poonch city.
