REASI, AUGUST 30:
In heartwarming turn of events, a homeless and mentally unstable man from Bihar
was today reunited with his family with the efforts of district administration
Reasi.
The man, Kishan
Mukhiya, who hails from Madhubani, Bihar, had met with an accident in Delhi and
got serious physical injuries as a result of which he lost his memory. He
somehow found his way to Reasi where he was found in the streets by one Good
Samaritan Puneet, a Railways employee, who reported the matter to Deputy Commissioner
Reasi.
Thereafter the
man was shifted to SMVD Narayana hospital and then to the Government
Psychiatric Facility, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu. Due to the timely intervention of
the district administration, which also saw active involvement of the
Divisional Red Cross Society, the patient regained his consciousness and
revealed his whereabouts.
Now Kishan has been reunited with his family and his physical condition
has also improved.
