TIC Ramnagar organizes Debate competition

RAMNAGAR, AUG 29:  Department of Information and Public Relations, Udhampur organized a debate competition on the topic “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” at Government Girls Middle School, Dalsar, Zone Ramnagar here today.

Headmaster of the host School, Raghubir Bharti was the chief guest on the occasion.

Around 10 students of the institution participated in debate contest and highlighted the importance of saving the girl child besides increase in sex ratio.

Kiran Radha of 7th class was adjudged first while Shivali Verma and Sunita Devi were declared 2nd and 3rd respectively. Besides, consolation prizes were also given to Kanchan Devi and Manish of class 8th and 6^th.

While addressing the gathering, the chief guest lauded the efforts of Information Department for organizing the event in the school.

Later, the chief guest also distributed prizes and certificates among the participants.

Partap Singh, Mohan Lal and Rattan Lal acted as judges while Balwinder Singh conducted the proceedings of the programme.
