BJP revolutionized women empowerment: Vijaya Rahatkar

Jammu, Sept 11: National President of BJP Mahila Morcha Vijaya Rahatkar addressed press conference and meeting of state Mahila Morcha at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.

Mahila Morcha National President was also accompanied by National Vice-President BJP Mahila Morcha & Prabhari Mahila Morcha J&K Rashim Sood, State President Mahila Morcha Rajni Sethi and other senior leaders during whole schedule, while BJP State President Ravinder Raina (MLA) also addressed the Mahila Morcha meeting at party headquarter.

Vijaya Rahatkar in her address, lauded the enthusiasm shown by the women activists of the party for the party programmes. She said that such great participation by the women folk in the political activists will prove to be catalyst in Nation development. She said that only the BJP as given true representation to the women of the Nation cutting across all the differences of region or religion.

Rahatkar said that the BJP government has truly revolutionized women empowerment by framing plenty of women centric welfare schemes Ujjawala, Skill Development etc. and prompted the Mahila Morcha activists to ensure that the general women folk are benefitted by them schemes. She asked the activists to follow the footsteps of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee while working for the welfare of the people.

Rahatkar also called upon the Morcha leaders to enhance their activity level to ensure that BJP wins every single election in the region. She said that the Morcha leaders have to carry on their work up to the level of booth to make sure that their dedication is appreciated by the common masses, gaining their love and support in the elections. She also stressed on the use of MODI App, while she focused on the winning of 2019 elections.

Earlier she also interacted with the beneficiaries of Ujjawala Yojana at Gangyal. During the door to door interaction she also had up of tea with the beneficiaries at their homes.

Ravinder Raina, during his address, said that the women have a very primary role in shaping the development of the society. He continued that the BJP is the only political party which has truly recognized the women power and has given them representation at every step of party. He focused on the party’s commitment towards the women empowerment. He said that the party always stands with its women activists and called for ever increasing synchronization to cement the win of party candidates in every election to come.

Rashim Sood, in her address, focused upon the strengthening of organizational strengthening of the Mahila Morcha at the microscopic level. She appreciated the hard work by the dedicated cadre of State Mahila Morcha in reaching up to every place. She said that the women centric schemes have generated an overwhelming response from the society. She emphasized on the important role of women for the development of the society and the Nation.

Rajni Sethi, in her address, said that the women have to play a greater role in the overall development in the society. She said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led NDA government is working hard for bringing out positive changes in the women education, working and living conditions. She also appreciated the state Mahila Morcha team for their sincere work in strengthening the party at grass root level.
