POONCH, SEPTEMBER
06: District Development Commissioner, Rahul Yadav today reviewed the
implementation of ongoing Swachhta Pakhwada-2018 in a meeting here.
The DDC directed
the concerned departments to identify more areas to be cleaned during the
programme. He instructed them to hold cleanliness drives and involve officers
of various departments, volunteers from Nehru Yuva Kendar , schools ,colleges,
self help groups , community participants and Asha workers for the Swachhta
Programmes all over the District.
The meeting was informed
that five places in Poonch, Mandi ,Surenkote, Mendhar and Bafliyaz are
finalized to be cleaned completely.
The DDC asked the
concerned officers to draft a detailed list of activities such as symposiums,
cleanliness drives, painting competitions and many alike being organized during
Swachhta Pakhwada.
The meeting was
attended by ACD, DPOs, BDOs, Principal GDC Mendhar, Principal GDC Surenkote,
Vice Principal GDC Poonch , CMO Poonch, CEO Education besides representatives
of Nehru Yuva Kendar and other concerned officers.
