Kailash Yatra begins in Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH, SEPTEMBER 06: Charri Mubarak of Holy Kailash Yatra left for Kailash Kund from the ancient Vasuki Nag Temple, Gatha, Bhaderwah here today.

Amidst the chanting of Vasuki Nag deity, the Yatra crossed the Bhaderwah town where MLA Daleep Singh Parihar and MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta accompanied by ADC Bhaderwah Dr Ravi Kumar Bharti, CEO Development Authority Rajinder Khajuria (nominated Yatra Officer), ASP Rajinder Singh, SDPO Tousif Ahmed, SHO and others tehsil officers besides President of Sanathan Dharm Sabha, V K Kotwal, Mast Nath Yogi and large number of local people accorded a warm send off to the pilgrims.

After having a night stay at Hayan (Nalthi), the Yatra will reach its holy destination and the devotees will take a dip in the sacred water of dal. After performing religious rituals, the yatra will start its return journey to Bhaderwah on Sept 08, 2018.

The administration of Sub-division Bhaderwah has made elaborate arrangements of Medical team with sufficient medicines, first aid, drinking water, electricity through generator sets, firewood, tents for pilgrims and all other allied facilities including fool- proof security arrangements for smooth conduct of the yatra.

 The helicopter service has been put in place for the first time at a fair rate. Several Charris are taking different routes from Kellar and others to reach Kailash kund.
