Jammu, Sept 18: Jammu & Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party held “Kavya-Anjali” programme in which eminent poets of the region paid poetic tributes to the former Prime minister, Bharat Ratna Late Sh. Atal Bihari Vapayee ji.
BJP State President Ravinder Raina (MLA), MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, former Minister Sat Sharma, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi, Govind Sareen and other senior leaders also graced the occasion.
Mohan Singh, Narsingh Dev Singh Jamwal, Brij Mohan Sharma, Usha Kiran, Chander Mohan Sharma, Uma Bhakhari, Kusum Sharma, Mangal Dass Dogra, Nirmal Vinod, Vijaya Thakur, Yashpal Nirmal, K.K. Shakker, Dr. Sushma Rani, Dr. Chanchal Bhasin, Shiv Dev Singh Susheel, Randhir Singh Rajpuriya, Amita Mehta, Bansi Lal and other prominent and renowned poets remembered Atal ji by reciting heart touching verses full of poetic charm. Kavinder Gupta, Dr. Krishan Bhagat, Adv. Ramesh Arora, Sushil Sharma, Paduman Singh, Ishtiak Wani and Star G. Singh also presented their beautiful compositions on the occasion.
Ravinder Raina, while speaking on the occasion, acknowledged every single poet for their mesmerizing compositions recited in the fond memory of Atal ji. He said that Atal ji was a divine personality who was loved by all irrespective of any affiliation. He said that such souls never die and continue to enlighten everybody with the right path. He said that the great Son of the Mata will live for eternity in our heartbeats and will be remembered us with every single breath.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while remembering the great ideologue, said that Atal ji has provided all of us with a new direction. He said that the vision of Atal ji stands fully relevant in the present and that dream will act as great guiding force for the forthcoming generations.
Kavinder Gupta, expressed his love and emotions for Atal ji with his poetic compositions along with other poets. He said that Atal ji stood like a wall in the turbulent times in the politics of India guiding everyone identical to a beacon in the storm.
Sat Sharma, while remembering the great soul, focussed that throughout his lifespan, the heavenly bound soul of Atal ji kept fighting to retain his promise with the “Bharat Mata” to enthrone Her and reclaim Her past glory.
Yudhvir Sethi conducted the proceedings of whole programme beautifully with his recurrent poetic contributions to the programme creating a highly “Charged and Charmed” atmosphere. Govind Sareen and Surinder Choudhary also made important contributions in the management of programme.
