Providing variety of new courses for the students of J&K with assured placements.
Jammu, 28th May: Having established itself as a premium university within a very short span of time, Sanskriti University has now decided to provide opportunity to the students of J&K state to pursue higher education at its campus located in a serene environment in a well-connected location on National Highway NH-2 at Mathura and this is the first time when the university is extending admissions to J&K students said P.C.Chabra (E.D Sanskriti University).
Addressing the media persons he said that Sanskriti University is recognized as one of the premium private universities of North India where, besides quality education, great attention is paid towards holistic development of the students. He disclosed mediapersons that University has been awarded by various agencies for the quality of education. To quote only a few are  “The Best university of  North India”, “2nd Best for Research in India by Times”, “5th best in India for infrastructure by Outlook”, Best management Institute in UP, 4th Best private University in India for Engineering education etc. All this could be achieved as Sanskriti has the best intellectual capital as the faculty is drawn from Academia, Industry and Corporate. Most of its faculty has qualifications from IITs, IIMs, other Institutions of eminence etc. The university is well known for its cosmopolitan culture as students are coming in large number from various parts of the vast nation apart from students from SAARC countries.
Abhisheik Shukla (Gen Manager, Sanskriti University) during the press conference said that to contribute towards equitable growth across different strata of the society, Sanskriti University has decided to awards scholarships to the tune of Rs. one crore to the meritorious students from J&K state who come from humble background.”

Skill development, Industry aligned course curriculum and industry integrated courses ensure that the students become skilled. Learning Life skills and constant mentoring by experts ensures their holistic development. Education on industrial robotics and manufacturing and automation is being offered only by Sanskriti University. Training in AutoCAD, CNC machines helps students in getting decent packages through placements. JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 28: The Government has completed 161 works under the ongoing Command Area Development (CAD) projects at    Udhampur, Ramban, Kishtwar Pargwal and Rajouri to provide assured irrigation to the farmers in the targeted areas.
The information was given at a review meeting of Field Officers of the Command Area Development Jammu looking after ongoing CAD Projects of District Udhampur, Ramban, Kishtwar Pargwal and Rajouri.
The meeting which continued for two days was held  under the Chairmanship of  Director, Command Area Development Jammu Rohit Khajuria.
On the onset of the meeting Chief Agriculture Officer, CAD Jammu briefed the chair regarding the Physical & Financial targets/achievements in respect of Udhampur, Ramban and Kishtwar CAD Projects within the allocated resources. An area of 243 hectares in respect of Udhampur, 55 hectares in respect of Ramban and 60 hectares in respect of Kishtwar projects has been brought under assured irrigation through construction of O F D works (i.e field channels). With the completion 109 works 139 farmers were benefited in Udhampur, 17 in Ramban and 107 in Kishtwar
The meeting was further informed that an area of 80 hectares in Pargwal and 75 hectares in Rajouri   has been brought under assured irrigation through construction of field channels.
“With completion of total 52 works 84 farmers of Pargwal and 103 Rajouri CAD Projects have been benefitted” the meeting was told.
The Officers were instructed to submit the Inspection report of the works executed duly authenticated by the prominent persons of the village after every field visit.

The Director Command Area Development Jammu laid stressed on maintaining quality of works and directed the Officers of respective projects to keep a close liaison with farming community who are the ultimate beneficiary of the scheme.
