SRINAGAR, APRIL 9: Vice Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation (JKPCC), Sheikh Khalid Jehangir, today inspected pace of various ongoing development projects being executed in Srinagar district.
The Vice Chairman interacted with the officers of JKPCC who briefed him about progress and other related issues regarding the ongoing projects of the Corporation in the district.
During the inspection, the VC visited approved site for construction of Forest Protection Force Building Bemina. He also inspected work underway on the construction SPS Library Lal Chowk and stressed on timely completion of the works.
On the occasion, Khalid Jehangir directed the officers to ensure that required formalities and procedures for the projects awaiting clearance from various quarters are completed at the earliest so that they are taken up and completed within the stipulated timeframe.
DGM Ist, DGM 3rd and senior officers of the Corporation besides other concerned accompanied the Vice Chairman.



JAMMU, JANUARY 16: Sh. Khalid Jehangir, Vice-Chairman, J&K Projects Construction Corporation Ltd (JKPCC), called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Sh. Jehangir briefed the Governor about the functioning of the Corporation and the steps being taken to supply customers with innovative and cost-efficient construction products and services which meet their needs. JKPCC also provides the required supporting infrastructure.

Governor advised Sh. Jehangir to pursue required actions for ensuring transparency and accountability in the functioning of the Corporation and, besides, strict adherence to the agreed cost and time schedules. While efficiently discharging their mandated roles, the Governor stressed the importance of Public Sector Units also remaining socially relevant and totally responsible.

          SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 28: Vice-Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Projects Construction Company (JKPCC), Sheikh Khalid Jehangir, who is presently in the United States of America in connection with a prestigious fellowship ‘Diplomacy and Outreach’ met Indian diaspora and others during the past fortnight.    
          Jehangir during his one-month ongoing visit discussed overall situation in South Asia particularly in India, including issues confronting Jammu and Kashmir vis-à-vis infiltration on borders with the members of the diaspora and top American dignitaries and policymakers.
          He was also invited by the Indian embassy in the United States to attend the conference on Deendayal Uphday where he met diplomats and senators also.
          The Vice Chairman during his ongoing visit travelled to California, San Francisco, Washington DC, Pittsburgh, Colorado, and New York where he met business leaders and media personalities as well.
          Jehangir is the first Kashmiri who was invited by the South East Asia Center, USA for a fellowship. He has studied how American Government, and societies, are responding to a wide range of international issues like terrorism, violent extremism, radicalization, poverty, healthcare and education.
