Ranjri: While showering the rays of spiritualism during a satsang at Ranjri, Sh. Madhu Param Hansji Maharaj, the head of the Sahib Bandgi panth, said that the study of the holy scriptures & the sayings of great enlightened souls make it clear that our ancestors used to perform spiritual journeys. Common people may think whether such a thing is possible or not. Some may ask whether it is a difficult job. The fact is that such a thing is certainly not difficult to do. With full cencentration man can watch many happenings within him. He can see many Brahmands, miraculous powers & Brahma, Vishno & Mahesh even.
At present, all kinds of Nirgun worship are related to the 5 postures. There is need to understand such worshippers as well. Then there is the need to understand ‘Vihangum’ as well. We are following it. We are talking about something that is far beyond these 5 kinds of Mudras (postures). We don’t deny the existence of such things but these will perish with the perishing away of the body. As such, we won’t be able to derive any benefit from these.
In Chachri Mudra, the devotee has to fix his concentration. Fixing of concentration is called as Papeel Marg. A Yogi fixes his concentration at a place in-between the two eyes. If he goes to sleep, he begins to see dreams. Such a state is called as Turiya state. If you look at your nose for even 10 seconds, you will find a sort of strain. It also gives rise to a certain state of mind. In fact, a person reaches where he fixes his concentration. Sometimes, even while sitting, you forget all about your body. There are many extraordinary things hidden within man. Whenever a devotee tries to fix his concentration, the breath creates hurdles. You should try to understand these Mudras but, in no way we want to give a message about them. The Mudras can enable us have some information about that which lies within us. Some call the musical notes emanating from within as God Himself. But we take all this as Maya (illusion). We have described concentration in a somewhat different context. Chachri Mudra give a devotee many kinds of experiences. He can talk to anyone by sending waves even. He can go where he likes. Some fix concentration through one Mudra while others do so through another one. But we are talking of something highter & as such have a knowledge of the Mudras as well.
Then there is the Bhuchri Mudra. In this Mudra as well as devotee gains some experiences related to the inner world. In Agochari Mudra the experiences related to the musical notes are gained. These musical notes also help in moving about in the different Lokas. The guru in such cases simply guides the disciples. He doesn’t do any practical help. In the Sant line, the satguru is all in all. Everything has to be done by him. Sahib Kabir has described the guru as a supreme being. He says that none but a satguru can have any knowledge of the Param Purush whose abode lies far beyond all the Lokas of Niranjan. None can reach there on the basis of his own power. This is because there are a lot of fearful herdles. Niranjan is very powerful. So the grace of a satguru alone can help a devotee reach the Amarlok of the Param Purush.

Ranjri, Jyly 27: Showering the pearls of spiritualism, at Ranjri on the occassion of Guru Purnima, his holiness, Sh. Madhu Param Hans ji Maharaj, of Sahib Bandgi panth, said that often man has to wander in the ocean of misconceptions while making an attempt for the attainment of God. Some scriptures describe meditation & recitation of Nam as the means for the attainment of God whereas the others say that man can’t do so on its own. Seeing two things in the sayings of Sahib as well, Dharam Dass ji tells Sahib that the study of Shastras has created misconceptions in his mind. He pray to him to clear his doubts whether meditation & recitation or the Satguru will help in crossing the worldly ocean.              Some say the Satguru will take us across the worldly ocean if we surrender before him. Those who say that we ourselves have to do something will opine that act of surrender as well is the act of doing something.
Nanak Dev ji says that only a devotee who has been destined, will go to the guru. Now the question arises as to how this will happen. Sahibji as well has said that only awakened jivas come to him.
The noble deeds performed by man in his previous births change his interior accordingly. They make man wise & he becomes able to understand all this.
The deeds of many births are with you. You have worshipped for births together & it is the fruit of all this that has brought you to me. You try to explain this to your friends & relatives but they don’t pay any heed. They are not to blame for this.
That is to say your noble virtues will enable you understand. There is another formula for one who is not in possession of virtues. The spiritual discourses of the Satguru & the spiritual power in his eyes will bring a change in him.
He will definitely bring a change in you. Also, you would come if any of your ancestors has been a devotee. That is to say 71 generations - 35 previous ones, 35 yet to come & one of the devotee himself. This is because the worship of the devotee will continue to have the good effect of the real & true worship related to Param Purush. The previous ones would take birth in the homes of Namis & will this come to seek the shelter of the Satguru.
I would cite an example in this regard that man has to do anything or Satguru will do. A tree needs all that your body needs. It takes the needed energy from the soil. But it can’t get one thing from the soil. For its survival it has to depend on solar energy. But the fact is that it receives from the sun even the power to get the food from the earth which is a part of the sun itself.
So to say, the same thing happens in connection with the worship of the Satguru. So never say you are the doer. Don’t be an egoist. It is he who is the real doer. You are only a medium.
Grand satsang held at Ranjri on Kabir Jayanti

Ranjri, June 28: While showering the rays of spiritualism during a satsang at Ranjri on the eve of Kabir Jayanti, Sh. Madhu Param Hansji Maharaj, the head of the Sahib Bandgi panth, said that the world we are living in, is not the real abode of soul.
Is it true to say so? Yes, it is true. Can we see it? Yes, we can do so. If we give a serious thought to all that is happening around us, we shall find that nothing favourable to the soul is to be found here.
We can see the fragrance through our nostrils. We can see the air through its touch with the body. Likewise, we can see the soul as well. One day, I went to Rakhbandu. The cows there began to cry. I asked one of the devotees the reason for it. He said that they were crying because they had come from Ranjri. I had forgotten them but they hadn’t done so. All the animals including a calf that had been brought there from Ranjri, began to cry. I mean to say, they were trying to recognize me.
I have made a thorough study of the cruel natured persons as well & have found the same soul in all of them.
This universe is not an abode of the soul. You might have doubts about the appearance of Amarlok, Satya Purush & the soul. The fact is that you know all about them. No doubt, it will appear strange as to how you can be expected to have a knowledge of all the there. But it is a fact that the soul after reaching Amarlok, doesn’t find anything new & strange there. This universe apears as a true & real one due to the play of Munn Maya. Actually, you know you previous birth as well. When you visit some place, you feel that the place seems to be a known one. Sometimes, on seeing some fellow, you feel as if you know him. But you visited that place or saw that particular fellow for the first time. Then how did it happen like that? One day, I visited the Siyaishian Glacier & felt as if I had visited there earlier as well. But the fact is that I had gone there for the first time. I went deep into the matter & found that I had lived at that place earlier as well.
I want to speak only so much as is sufficient for you to understand. If I speak more, you won’t believe it. It will cause disturbance in your worship.
When the soul reaches Satlok, it, at once, recognises that it is its own abode. Param Purush doesn’t appear to be an unknown face.

Jammu, Apr 18: On his 69th Birthday Sadguru Sh. Madhu Param Hans Ji Maharaj, the spiritual head of Sahib Bandgi Panth while showering the nectar of spiritualism during his spiritual discourse at Sant Ashram, Ranjri, Samba today, said that the brain is the key organ of human body that controls whole of the body. Every pore of the body obeys its dictates. If a fly sits on the face, our hand automatically reaches there to secare it away.
Just like the body the Brahmand is also being controlled. In fact, every part of our body–be it feet, eyes, hands perform their functions as per the dictates of the brain. The question arises as to which is the power that controls the brain. It is the Munn(mind) that resides within the Sushumna & dictates the organs.
For instance, this body of ours is functioning under some definite system. The Brahmand is also functioning in the same manner. Devil forces are controlling the body. How is it going on? Let’s try to understand it. While walking, if we happen to see some thorn or a pit, our feet automatically move aside. There are no eyes in the feet. But a single dictation from the brain makes the foot obey it. All the organs are, so to say connected to the brain which in its turn is being controlled by mind. The brain has to do what the mind dictates. At the Sahastersar Chakra is the abode of Niranjan himself who controls the functioning of the entire Brahmand. Just as the passengers in a bus driven by a drunkard are not safe, all the jives of this Brahmand also are not safe in the hands of the mind which is nothing short of a devil. The vices like lust, anger, greed, attachment & ego are nothing but the various forms through which it tortures the Jivas in all possible ways. Strange to say, our soul also obeyes its dictates. Now the question arises as to whether our soul is less powerful than the mind. Certainly not is the answer. This is because it is our soul that is the source of strength & power of this mind whereas the soul has its own strength has not to depend on any outer source for the purpose.
It means the soul is in the bondage of mind, which is misleading it. That is why the man wants to rid himself of this mind. Our ancestors like Kapil, Shandilaya tried hard but failed to gain victory over mind. Then how can it be brought under control so as to enable us achieve salvation.
In fact, the salvation can be achieved through ‘Nam’ alone.

Ranjri, Mar 31: Sadguru Sh. Madhu Param Hans Ji Maharaj, the spiritual head of Sahib Bandgi Panth while, showering the nectar of spiritualism during his spiritual discourse at Sant Ashram Ranjri, Samba today, said that this body is nothing but a sort of punishment. It has certain needs. Deeds have to be performed to attain such material objects as are necessary for the survival of this body. Blood provides us the needed energy to perform work but it is the food that makes blood in the body.
The main requirements of the body are–food, clothing & shelter. Everyone wants to have a well furnished house, beautiful clothes to wear & nourishing food to eat. Those who can’t do so through fair means resort to foul & corrupt practices. But deeds performed by us have their definite impact on us. The cycle of births & deaths directly depends on the nature of deeds performed by us. Lord Krishna has said to Arjun, “Just as we wear new clothes after throwing away the old ones, our soul also leaves one body & takes another one. But the fact is that the soul has no need at all to perform any deed.”
The soul (hansa) has nothing to do with karmas (performance of deeds) because it is never born. It needs no energy & also it never gets destroyed like any other living being. This is because it is the part of God (Param Purush) who is above any sort of dissolution. Our body grows weak with the passage of time & also needs cleanliness to remove its dirt & filth but the soul is indestructible & needs no outward cleanliness. It is always in peace & bliss like God as it reflects His qualities. But the soul has begun to consider itself as the body & this misconception has been the root cause of all the problems.
It is good to leave this universe as soon as one can. Dharma Dass ji asked Sahib Kabir as to how a jiva could reach its original abode. Sahib Kabir said that one should remain absorbed in his satguru.
