On the eve of Poornima, his holiness, Sh. Madhu Param Hans ji Maharaj, the spiritual head of the Sahib Bandgi panth, said during the course of satsang at Ranjri that it is not easy to come to the fold of Sadguru Bhakti. This is because of the fact that it is a rare kind of worship that is altogether different from the other prevalent modes of worship. You will find it difficult to associate your relatives, friends & others with it. It is not easy to understand it. This is because all those who came to the universe remained engrossed in the worship of Niranjan. None could understand the worship related to Param Purush. All our ancestors were very respectable & great. But all of them talked of Niranjan alone. None could know what lay beyond. All the religions of the universe are talking of Niranjan alone. No religious scripture is bad. There are two main aims related to these religious scriptures. These are— the life style & the God related element. Every scripture, at first, teaches the way of living. It throws light on sin & merit & the way one should lead one’s life. Every scripture, at first, teaches the way of living. It throws light on sin & merit & the way one should lead one’s life. Secondly,it throws light on all that is related to God.

There are one lakh Shalokas in the Vedas. Out of these 80,000 are related to rites & rituals alone. These tell us about sin, merit & other such like things. Only 4000 Shlokas are related to the attainment of God. That is to say, the religion, at first, teaches us about the way one should behave & lead one’s life. The attainment of God comes afterwards. Our ancestors didn’t indulge in sinful acts. They were afraid of sins. But today, man doesn’t feel afraid of these sinful acts. The people seem to be engrossed in worship but no practical change in the behavior of the people is to be seen. It means, we have moved away from the first aim as well.

Then the Vedas are talking about the Nirakar (formless). Bible as well is talking of the formless God. Islam also talks about the Bechoona-God (formless).Take Nirakar as Niranjan & the Nam related to Param Purush as a hidden one.Two kinds of worship—Sagun & Nirgun--are to be found everywhere. Both of these talk about the performance of noble deeds. Significance of the acts of charity is also to be found in them. The gurus are usually family holders. They ask the devotees to perform pilgrimage of the four Dhams, do acts of charity & merit & to attain the heaven & other kinds of Lokas. They don’t show any path to attain God. Unlike the Sagun worshippers, the Nirgun worshippers take God as formless. Some say Sahib Kabir as well was the worshipper of Nirakar. This is not true. The Nirgun worship centres around the five postures whereas the Satya Bhakti revolves arount the Satguru.

Jammu, Sept 25: Showering nectarian bliss on the followers at Ranjri on the eve of Purnima, Sh. Madhu Param Hans ji Maharaj, the head of Sahib Bandgi panth, said that the four kinds of salvation one can attain through Sagun or the Nirgun form of worship are short lived. There is no spiritual knowledge to be found in the heaven. Due to this very reason the Rishi Mridugal had refused to go to heaven. When the messengers of God came to take him, he asked them to explain to him the detail about heaven. The messengers while describing the good points said that it was a very pleasureful place where beautiful water bodies  trees laden with sweet & beautiful flowers were to be found. Describing the shortcomings there the messengers said that the heaven was a place where people go to reap the reward of their merits. But they can’t perform any Karma there. Unlike the earth, where even a small employee can get promotion, the people there remain as they are. There is no scope to move ahead. Secondly, there is an element of fear to be found there. One has to return to the earth after reaping the merits.
Thirdly, there is an element of envy as well. All don’t enjoy the same kind of pleasures. There are three categories in heaven. Those in the lower ones envy those falling in the higher one.
Hearing all this, the Rishi asked the messengers to go back. He said that he wanted to attain spiritual knowledge. He didn’t want to go to the place where only the fruit is reaped. Such a place can’t give spiritual knowledge. As such, he refused to go there. But the worldly people perform all sorts of Karmas to reach there.
There was a small boy. He had read that there were Apsras (beautiful women) in heaven & one could enjoy a lot of pleasures there. From the very childhood he began to tell his mother that he wanted to go to heaven. The parents felt disturbed. They asked a doctor to treat the boy. The boy belonged to a rich family. The doctor got a grand building constructed in a forest. He arranged there all sorts of pleasureful things the boy had read about. One night, he lifted him during his sleep & placed him there. On getting awake, the boy asked where he was. There was a garden as well. There were charming girls as well in the guise of Apsras. They said that he had come to the heaven. For a little while he felt very happy for having reached the heaven. When the day dawned, he said that he wanted to play Gulli Danda. The doctor said that one couldn’t play such a game there. Then he asked about his mother. The doctor said that there was no Mummy to be found in heaven. Then he asked about the whereabouts of Munn. The doctor said that there was no Munnu there. Then he asked where his grand maternal mother was. He wanted to listen stories from her. The doctor told him that there was no grand maternal mother to be found there. At this, the boy felt very sad & said that he didn’t want to remain in such a heaven. He began to weep. During his sleep, he was again lifted & brought to his home. On getting awake he was very much delighted to find his mother. He told her that he didn’t want to go to the heaven.
Sahib Kabir has clearly said that there is nothing to be found in heaven. There is nothing to be found in other lokas like the Brahm lok as well. But the Amar lok is a very rare kind of Loka.    Pleasures & pleasures alone & no kind of sorrows are to be found there.

Jammu: Showering the nectarian pearls of spiritualism over the devotees during the course of a satsang at Rakhbandu, his holiness, Sh. Madhu Param Hans ji Maharaj, the head of Sahib Bandgi panth, said that a single lemon can spoil even 9 maunds of milk. Likewise, the Munn is very troublesome & hard to deal with. It has badly held the soul in its grip. It tortures it in various ways. None can save himself without getting blessed with Nam.
There are many noble persons who perform good deeds. Should they be called as sinners? Many people tell lies while showing themselves as truthful. But they fail to realise it. The conscience of man can never be awakened without the power of Nam. The awakening comes only when the guru blesses the devotee with the power of Nam. The Munn will never make you perform noble needs. It will always drag you towards evils. Can we obtain ghee by churning water?
Can we get oil by processing the sand? Likewise, one should never expect any good activity from Munn. There is need to bring it under control. Never think that this Munn can be made pure & flawless. It can be brought under control through concentration. All the jobs being performed at the instance of Munn can never be called as decent ones. As such, man continues to have a low thinking without getting blessed with Nam. After getting blessed with the power of Nam, you stop acting as per the dictates of Munn & do what you think good. Some say, the desire itself is life. But this is not true because the desire is always related to Munn.
The devotee begins to understand all this when he receives the rare power of Nam. This power stands with him in a formless manner. It continues to guide him about what is good or bad. That is a miraculous Nam & has the power to take jiva across the worldly ocean.
Your taking birth in the universe clearly shows that you have not been liberated yet.
He who gets liberated, doesn’t get reborn.
He who attains a body is never called as liberated. It means, all of us are getting born again & again. It is possible that we might have worshipped for yugas together & might have attained various lokas like the heaven, hell, pitar lok & the like. Even after passing through the cycle of 84 yunies, we couldn’t attain salvation. Your taking birth again & again clearly shows that you have not been liberated yet.        He who gets liberated, reaches Satlok. He doesn’t get born again.
It means, our efforts for seeking liberation have not yielded any result. Our own activities & power have failed to make us liberated.
The fact is that salvation can never be attained without the power of Nam.
The soul is living in ignorance. It doesn’t know where it has to go. To conclude, we can say that under no circumstances we can attain salvation through our own earnings.

Ranjri: While showering the rays of spiritualism during a satsang at Ranjri, Sh. Madhu Param Hansji Maharaj, the head of the Sahib Bandgi panth, said that the study of the holy scriptures & the sayings of great enlightened souls make it clear that our ancestors used to perform spiritual journeys. Common people may think whether such a thing is possible or not. Some may ask whether it is a difficult job. The fact is that such a thing is certainly not difficult to do. With full cencentration man can watch many happenings within him. He can see many Brahmands, miraculous powers & Brahma, Vishno & Mahesh even.
At present, all kinds of Nirgun worship are related to the 5 postures. There is need to understand such worshippers as well. Then there is the need to understand ‘Vihangum’ as well. We are following it. We are talking about something that is far beyond these 5 kinds of Mudras (postures). We don’t deny the existence of such things but these will perish with the perishing away of the body. As such, we won’t be able to derive any benefit from these.
In Chachri Mudra, the devotee has to fix his concentration. Fixing of concentration is called as Papeel Marg. A Yogi fixes his concentration at a place in-between the two eyes. If he goes to sleep, he begins to see dreams. Such a state is called as Turiya state. If you look at your nose for even 10 seconds, you will find a sort of strain. It also gives rise to a certain state of mind. In fact, a person reaches where he fixes his concentration. Sometimes, even while sitting, you forget all about your body. There are many extraordinary things hidden within man. Whenever a devotee tries to fix his concentration, the breath creates hurdles. You should try to understand these Mudras but, in no way we want to give a message about them. The Mudras can enable us have some information about that which lies within us. Some call the musical notes emanating from within as God Himself. But we take all this as Maya (illusion). We have described concentration in a somewhat different context. Chachri Mudra give a devotee many kinds of experiences. He can talk to anyone by sending waves even. He can go where he likes. Some fix concentration through one Mudra while others do so through another one. But we are talking of something highter & as such have a knowledge of the Mudras as well.
Then there is the Bhuchri Mudra. In this Mudra as well as devotee gains some experiences related to the inner world. In Agochari Mudra the experiences related to the musical notes are gained. These musical notes also help in moving about in the different Lokas. The guru in such cases simply guides the disciples. He doesn’t do any practical help. In the Sant line, the satguru is all in all. Everything has to be done by him. Sahib Kabir has described the guru as a supreme being. He says that none but a satguru can have any knowledge of the Param Purush whose abode lies far beyond all the Lokas of Niranjan. None can reach there on the basis of his own power. This is because there are a lot of fearful herdles. Niranjan is very powerful. So the grace of a satguru alone can help a devotee reach the Amarlok of the Param Purush.

Jammu: In connection with Guru Purnima Special, scattering the nectar of spiritualism at Satwari Ground, Jammu, Sh. Madhu Param Hans ji Maharaj, the spiritual head of Sahib Bandgi Panth said to his followers that the saints have accorded a high status to a guru in the whole of Brahmand. Though outwardly the Shastras also speak high of the status of a guru yet there are some apparent shortcomings to be seen there. These gurus had often participated in wars against others. But the Sant line has seated the guru at a high & adorable place. After all what is the special thing that the gurus possess & why has he been accorded such a high status.
What task does a guru perform! Some say that the guru blesses with a ‘Nam’; others say that he makes the devotees polite while some say that he provides spiritual knowledge. There  seems to be no satisfactory answer to it. But, undoubtedly, the much has been said about his status. Is it simply because of the fact that he shows the path? No! There is something more than this.
The guru blesses with a miraculous & rare ‘Nam’ that enables the jiva reach its original abode. A conch has a special system in its interior that has the power to convert a drop of water into a pearl. No scientist has so far succeeded in producing a pearl with the help of some chemical. This is because such a system is present in the interior of a conch only. A musk deer has musk in its navel. This musk has a great market value. The deer possesses a system to produce musk. This musk is made from the semen of the deer. None has so far succeeded in producing such musk. Again, there is some special system in the sound of Bharinga. It catches hold of any insect & changes its shape with the power of its sound. None of the 84 lakh jivas has the power to change completely the genetic structure, to change the sparrow into a parrot or an ant into altogether different insect. Though the scientists are making attempts in this regard, yet they have not succeeded in doing so. The Bhringa changes the insect completely like itself. Likewise, a perfect spiritual master possesses a wonderful & rare thing & that is why a high status has been accorded to him. A true guru has rare power hidden in his Surti & he transfers the same into the interior of the disciple.
A doctor has the qualities of a doctor hidden within his but he takes 3 to 4 years to bring these out. Likewise, an engineer takes many years to bring to light the engineer hidden within him & a driver takes some years to bring to light the driver hidden within him. This process is just like walking on foot. But the question arises as to whether an engineer brings to light the engineer within him within a minute? Certainly not will be the answer. The same is the case of a doctor or a driver. But it is perfect Satguru alone who has the power to transfer his qualities into a devotee within a minute. This power & the process involved are called as the activity of blessing with Nam.
But the world has changed the very form of the activity of blessing with Nam. The worldly people have turned it into a matter of joke & an act of mere formality. The activity of blessing with ‘Nam’ is a rare one. Transferring of spiritual power & qualities into the interior of a devotee within a minute is the greatest wonder in itself. There is a great weight age in whatever Sahibji has said.
Wherefrom did the saints get this paras (a stone that has the power to change iron into gold by its mere touch) like power! They got it after getting absorbed in the ultimate reality.

Ranjri, Jyly 27: Showering the pearls of spiritualism, at Ranjri on the occassion of Guru Purnima, his holiness, Sh. Madhu Param Hans ji Maharaj, of Sahib Bandgi panth, said that often man has to wander in the ocean of misconceptions while making an attempt for the attainment of God. Some scriptures describe meditation & recitation of Nam as the means for the attainment of God whereas the others say that man can’t do so on its own. Seeing two things in the sayings of Sahib as well, Dharam Dass ji tells Sahib that the study of Shastras has created misconceptions in his mind. He pray to him to clear his doubts whether meditation & recitation or the Satguru will help in crossing the worldly ocean.              Some say the Satguru will take us across the worldly ocean if we surrender before him. Those who say that we ourselves have to do something will opine that act of surrender as well is the act of doing something.
Nanak Dev ji says that only a devotee who has been destined, will go to the guru. Now the question arises as to how this will happen. Sahibji as well has said that only awakened jivas come to him.
The noble deeds performed by man in his previous births change his interior accordingly. They make man wise & he becomes able to understand all this.
The deeds of many births are with you. You have worshipped for births together & it is the fruit of all this that has brought you to me. You try to explain this to your friends & relatives but they don’t pay any heed. They are not to blame for this.
That is to say your noble virtues will enable you understand. There is another formula for one who is not in possession of virtues. The spiritual discourses of the Satguru & the spiritual power in his eyes will bring a change in him.
He will definitely bring a change in you. Also, you would come if any of your ancestors has been a devotee. That is to say 71 generations - 35 previous ones, 35 yet to come & one of the devotee himself. This is because the worship of the devotee will continue to have the good effect of the real & true worship related to Param Purush. The previous ones would take birth in the homes of Namis & will this come to seek the shelter of the Satguru.
I would cite an example in this regard that man has to do anything or Satguru will do. A tree needs all that your body needs. It takes the needed energy from the soil. But it can’t get one thing from the soil. For its survival it has to depend on solar energy. But the fact is that it receives from the sun even the power to get the food from the earth which is a part of the sun itself.
So to say, the same thing happens in connection with the worship of the Satguru. So never say you are the doer. Don’t be an egoist. It is he who is the real doer. You are only a medium.

Jammu, July 01: Showering the nectarian pearls of spiritualism over the devotees during the course of a satsang at Satwari Chowk, his holiness, Madhu Param Hans ji Maharaj, the head of Sahib Bandgi panth, said the all of us remember many incidents of life. This system related to remembrance is present within the tissues. The concentration only awakens these tissues. You feed songs & devotional songs in C.D. Now a days, a small ‘chip’ can store upto 1000 songs. These are connected to a special system like that of the tissues. In the modern systems even the planning for the future can be safely stored.

One fellow said that the people talked about the reaping of fruit related to Karmas. He asked me to tell him the number of note books where the Karmas of the jivas were recorded. I told him that it was a fact that the Karmas (deeds) were being recorded.

Who is writing? I’ll tell you with how many pens he has been writing the deeds of the jivas. Now a days, the cameras have been fixed in the factories. A single camera can keep a watch on all the workers. Likewise, everyone has a recorder within him that records all the events & incidents being performed by him. Yamraj opens the recorder & shows all the deeds performed by the jiva. No kind of witness is needed there. You know the deeds you performed in your life & the places where you did so. All this recording is shown to the jiva at the time of judgement.

A fellow asked me how the yama caught hold of the soul. People often say that the yamas took away the soul. On the other hand, it is also said that this soul can’t be tied. It is a very subtle. Then how did the yamdoots caught hold of it. In hell, the jivas are burnt in fire & are tortured in every possible manner. When the body is left on the earth, what is that which suffers punishment. How is this unique & rare soul punished?

The fact is that even the yamdoots have no idea of the soul. I told the fellow that the yamdoots catch hold of the pranas. They can’t lay their hand on the soul. It remains beyond their reach. Recitation of Nam has a scientific basis. The yamdoots catch hold of the pranas. The jiva also follows them crying ‘oh my Pranas’ ‘oh my Pranas’.

The yamraj knows that the soul has a great love for its pranas. That is why he lays his hand on the Pranas & the soul follows these. Moreover as a result of its living in the body, it has taken itself as the body. Once I went to make a round of the hell. There I saw the yamdoots torturing the people. They were torturing a shadow like thing but the people were crying. Likewise is the feeling of body.

Grand satsang held at Ranjri on Kabir Jayanti

Ranjri, June 28: While showering the rays of spiritualism during a satsang at Ranjri on the eve of Kabir Jayanti, Sh. Madhu Param Hansji Maharaj, the head of the Sahib Bandgi panth, said that the world we are living in, is not the real abode of soul.
Is it true to say so? Yes, it is true. Can we see it? Yes, we can do so. If we give a serious thought to all that is happening around us, we shall find that nothing favourable to the soul is to be found here.
We can see the fragrance through our nostrils. We can see the air through its touch with the body. Likewise, we can see the soul as well. One day, I went to Rakhbandu. The cows there began to cry. I asked one of the devotees the reason for it. He said that they were crying because they had come from Ranjri. I had forgotten them but they hadn’t done so. All the animals including a calf that had been brought there from Ranjri, began to cry. I mean to say, they were trying to recognize me.
I have made a thorough study of the cruel natured persons as well & have found the same soul in all of them.
This universe is not an abode of the soul. You might have doubts about the appearance of Amarlok, Satya Purush & the soul. The fact is that you know all about them. No doubt, it will appear strange as to how you can be expected to have a knowledge of all the there. But it is a fact that the soul after reaching Amarlok, doesn’t find anything new & strange there. This universe apears as a true & real one due to the play of Munn Maya. Actually, you know you previous birth as well. When you visit some place, you feel that the place seems to be a known one. Sometimes, on seeing some fellow, you feel as if you know him. But you visited that place or saw that particular fellow for the first time. Then how did it happen like that? One day, I visited the Siyaishian Glacier & felt as if I had visited there earlier as well. But the fact is that I had gone there for the first time. I went deep into the matter & found that I had lived at that place earlier as well.
I want to speak only so much as is sufficient for you to understand. If I speak more, you won’t believe it. It will cause disturbance in your worship.
When the soul reaches Satlok, it, at once, recognises that it is its own abode. Param Purush doesn’t appear to be an unknown face.

Jammu, Apr 18: On his 69th Birthday Sadguru Sh. Madhu Param Hans Ji Maharaj, the spiritual head of Sahib Bandgi Panth while showering the nectar of spiritualism during his spiritual discourse at Sant Ashram, Ranjri, Samba today, said that the brain is the key organ of human body that controls whole of the body. Every pore of the body obeys its dictates. If a fly sits on the face, our hand automatically reaches there to secare it away.
Just like the body the Brahmand is also being controlled. In fact, every part of our body–be it feet, eyes, hands perform their functions as per the dictates of the brain. The question arises as to which is the power that controls the brain. It is the Munn(mind) that resides within the Sushumna & dictates the organs.
For instance, this body of ours is functioning under some definite system. The Brahmand is also functioning in the same manner. Devil forces are controlling the body. How is it going on? Let’s try to understand it. While walking, if we happen to see some thorn or a pit, our feet automatically move aside. There are no eyes in the feet. But a single dictation from the brain makes the foot obey it. All the organs are, so to say connected to the brain which in its turn is being controlled by mind. The brain has to do what the mind dictates. At the Sahastersar Chakra is the abode of Niranjan himself who controls the functioning of the entire Brahmand. Just as the passengers in a bus driven by a drunkard are not safe, all the jives of this Brahmand also are not safe in the hands of the mind which is nothing short of a devil. The vices like lust, anger, greed, attachment & ego are nothing but the various forms through which it tortures the Jivas in all possible ways. Strange to say, our soul also obeyes its dictates. Now the question arises as to whether our soul is less powerful than the mind. Certainly not is the answer. This is because it is our soul that is the source of strength & power of this mind whereas the soul has its own strength has not to depend on any outer source for the purpose.
It means the soul is in the bondage of mind, which is misleading it. That is why the man wants to rid himself of this mind. Our ancestors like Kapil, Shandilaya tried hard but failed to gain victory over mind. Then how can it be brought under control so as to enable us achieve salvation.
In fact, the salvation can be achieved through ‘Nam’ alone.
