          RAMBAN, NOV 01: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Tariq Hussain Ganai today held a meeting to review the physical and financial achievements of various sectors and flagship schemes in the district.
           Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Vevaik Puri, Chief Planning Officer, Uttam Singh, SDMs of Ramsoo and Banihal, CEO, CMO, CAO,CHO, DSWO and  other district and sectoral officers   attended the meeting.
           DDC reviewed progress made by various departments including R&B, Power, PHE, RDD, Social Welfare and other departments.  He  also reviewed progress under various state and centrally sponsored schemes in the district.
          DDC directed ACR and SDMs to conduct inspections of ongoing developmental works of their respective jurisdiction and submit the report.
          DDC also took the detailed review of the implementation of Chief Minister's directions and commitments given during her visit to the district.

           DDC urged all the officers present in the meeting to put vigorous efforts so that all the works and assigned targets are accomplished well in time.
          

RAMBAN, NOVMBER 01: District Development Commissioner , Tariq Hussain Ganai today flagged off farmers tour from Horticulture Complex   Ramban.
           The tour is being organised by Horticulture Department under MIDH and the farmers will visit different reputed horticulture institutions within the state like CITH, SUKAST Kashmir and department of horticulture. Major thrust of this visit will remain on dissemination of information on modern scientific know how and applied technology in horticulture sector.
 Speaking on the occasion, DDC stressed upon the farmers to take full advantage of such programmes. He further said that such programmes which benefit the farmers at large and help them in getting advance techniques of farming should be organized at regular intervals.

 Chief Horticulture Officer, Mukesh Sharma, HDOs   and other officers besides  larger number of farmers were present on the occasion.
