New Delhi, Apr 9: Sajid Nadiadwala's action entertainer 'Baaghi 2' had an excellent holdover second weekend at the Box Office.
Tiger Shroff’s high octane action and stunts continued to power the box office by collecting Rs 22.5 crore taking the total box office collection to Rs 135.35 crore. 
Despite the start of biggest cricket tournament IPL on April 7, Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani starrer dominated the box office. 
The film is now set to touch the magic figure of Rs 150 crore by the end of the second week.
Ever since its release, 'Baaghi 2' has been setting records by becoming the highest opener of 2018 followed by the highest Good Friday opener ever. 
With 'Baaghi 2', Tiger also emerges as the youngest Bollywood actor to clock the fastest century.
Tiger has taken the action a notch higher than what we had seen in the prequel. The actor is donning a never seen before avatar in the film which is certainly the best part about 'Baaghi 2'. 
The film also brings to celluloid Tiger and Disha Patani for the very first time.
'Baaghi 2' also stars ensemble cast like Manoj Bajpayee, Randeep Hooda, Prateik Babbar, Deepak Dobriyal, Grandmaster Shifuji Shaurya Bharadwaj and introducing Sunit Morarjee in addition to Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani.

New Delhi, Apr 9: Karan Johar's 'Student Of The Year 2' will go on floors on Monday.
Shooting for the film, which stars Tiger Shroff, debutante Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria will begin after the 'muharat pooja'.
Taking to twitter, Karan said, 'the student journey begins again SOTY2 ! The announcement of the final cast on Wednesday the 11th watch this space....break a leg @punitdmalhotra @iTIGERSHROFF @DharmaMovies @apoorvamehta18 @foxstarhindi .'
Being directed by Punit Malhotra, 'SOTY 2' is the sequel to 'Student of the year', which marked the debut of Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra.
In a tweet on Sunday, Karan, going down memory lane, said, 'Walked into the old Dharma Productions office in Bandra! Got all nostalgic about the times in this solid space and this is what I saw! The three sparkling students! While the new ones are going on set tomorrow! SOTY will always be special to me."
He also shared a photograph in which a wall is adorned by posters of the three actors -- Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.
Sources said thd cast of the film - Tiger along with Ananya and Tara - will head to Dehradun for the first schedule that will be shot in the exotic locales of Dehradun, Mussoorie and Rishikesh.

New Delhi, Apr 4: Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios action entertainer 'Baaghi 2' collected a double-digit number of Rs 10.60 crore nett on Tuesday, taking the total collection of 5 days to Rs 95.80 crore.
Powered by high octane action and stunts, the action superstar Tiger Shroff is all set to hit his maiden century with 'Baaghi 2' at the Box Office in India.
Sajid Nadiadwala's 'Baaghi 2' that released on Friday has shattered the box office with its phenomenal opening. The Tiger Shroff starrer is not only the highest opening film of 2018 but also the highest opener for any Gen next star.
Collecting a whopping Rs 25.10 crore on its opening day, 'Baaghi 2' is unstoppable at the box office. 
While Saturday recorded Rs 20.40 crore at the box office, Sunday saw an outstanding growth collecting Rs 27.60 crores, making the weekend collection of Rs 73.60 crore at the box office.

Overwhelmed by the stupendous response, Tiger took to Twitter to express his gratitude towards the audience. The young actor posted a video thanking his fans for all the love and support, "With love #forevergrateful #baaghi2".

New Delhi, Apr 2: Continuing with its stupendous run at the box office, 'Baaghi 2' has earned a stupendous Rs 73 crore in India in its opening weekend, the highest for an action movie, trade sources said on Monday. 
The film, which earned Rs 25.10 crore on its opening day, collected Rs 20 crore and Rs 28 crore on Saturday and Sunday. The total earnings of the film in the opening weekend were Rs 73 crore. 
Trade sources put the response to the film as stupendous.
The opening weekend figures of the film compare with some of the biggest action entertainers like ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (114.93 crore), ‘Dhoom 3’ (Rs 101.61 crore), ‘Bodyguard’ (Rs 88.75 crore), ‘Kick’(Rs 83.85 crore) and ‘Singham Returns ‘ (Rs 78 crore).
In fact, the film has crossed the opening weekend figures for mega stars like ‘Krrish 3’ (Rs 72.8 crore), ‘Bang Bang' (Rs 71.72 crore), ‘Agneepath’ (Rs 67.50 crore) and ‘Ek Tha Tiger ‘ (Rs 60.42 crore). 
Trade sources attribute the excellent opening taken by the film to its 'jaw dropping ' action stunts, a brilliant Star cast and sparkling chemistry between Tiger and Disha. The film has taken one of the best starts ever in the history of recent Bollywood releases.
It had gone past the opening day earnings of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmaavat ', which earned Rs 18 crore.
The film has also opened to an excellent response overseas. Trade sources said the opening day earning of the film in West Asia is 325000 dollars, the second highest opening day collections in West Asia after 'Padmaavat '.
The film had a higher opening day collections than 'Jolly LLB 2' and ' Judwaa 2'.
In New Zealand, the film collected 63,458 NZ dollars on the opening day, the second highest opening day figures after 'Padmaavat ', which had earnings of 63,769 NZ dollars on its opening day.

New Delhi, Mar 31: Measuring up to the huge buzz around the film, the Tiger shroff-Disha Patani-starrer 'Baaghi 2' has earned over Rs 25 crore on its opening day, becoming the best opener for 2018, trade sources said on Saturday. 
Riding on its 'jaw dropping ' action stunts, a brilliant Star cast and sparkling chemistry between Tiger and Disha, the movie has earned Rs 25.10 crore on its opening day on Friday. 
Trade sources said the film has taken one of the best starts ever in the history of recent Bollywood releases.
It had gone past the opening day earnings of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmaavat ', which earned Rs 18 crore.
While trade experts in the film industry had predicted a good opening for the film, the collections of Rs 25 crore exceeded the expectations. 
Given the huge response generated by the film, it is well on course towards entering the Rs 100 cr club by the end of the weekend. The film has also opened to an excellent response overseas. 
Trade sources said the opening day earning of the film in West Asia is 325000 US dollars, the second highest opening day collections in West Asia after 'Padmaavat '.

New Delhi, Mar 30: As per early trends, the trade circuit is hailing Sajid Nadiadwala's 'Baaghi 2' as the best opening of 2018.
'Baaghi 2' which released on Friday has taken the biggest opening of 2018 with morning occupancy of around 45-50 per cent with a 3,400 screen release.
