JAMMU, MAY 29: Colonel Shailender Singh today assumed the charge of
Director, National Cadet Corps (NCC) Directorate J&K.
The officer has been posted after successful commanding Mountain
Divisional Ordinance Unit in East and an Ammunition Depot in Central India.
Col Shailender Singh was adjudged as ‘Best NCC Cadet’ of
J&K for Republic Day Camp 1991 and proceeded to Canada under Youth Exchange
Programme 1991-1992. The Officer has been an instructor at ‘College of
Materials Management’ besides he has also been posted to United Nations Mission in Sudan
during his service in the Army.
