BANDIPORA, MAY 24: A free Legal Aid Camp was held today
under the chairmanship of Principal District and Session Judge Bandipora at
Community Hall Sumbal.
During the camp, officers of
Judiciary and Lawyers sensitized the participants about importance of Lok
Adalat. The officers of various Government Departments on the occasion made
people aware about various schemes launched for their welfare.
Organized by Tehsil Legal Services
Committee Sumbal in collaboration with Sadabahar Welfare Society Sumbal, the
camp was attended by Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Sumbal, Chief
Judicial Magistrate Bandipora, BDO Sumbal, CDPO Sumbal and Hajin, Social
Welfare Officer, Anganwadi Workers and senior citizens of the area.
During the camp, speakers stressed for taking immediate steps to curb
use of Polythene to preserve and protect the environment.
