MENDHAR MAY 29: Member Legislative Assembly Mendhar, Javed A Rana today
called for stern action against all those involved in drug peddling in the area
during a meeting held here today with the police authorities.
The meeting was attended by Sub Divisional Police Officer Mendhar and
other officials of the department.
The MLA had threadbare discussion on drug menace in the area and
emphasized on collective efforts on the part of administration and the people
to weed out this hazard from the society.
MLA, while hailing the crackdown put on drug peddlers in Rajouri town by
the district administration, called for a similar action in Mendhar and assured
every possible cooperation to police in this regard.
Meanwhile, MLA also asked officers of PDD and PHE to ensure that proper
power and water supply is maintained during the holy month of Ramzan.
