POONCH, MAY 26: Member Legislative
Council, Dr Shehnaz Ganai today visited Higher Secondary School Sawjian.
Dr Ganai thanked the Government for
starting science stream in the school and constructing additional block at a
cost of Rs 1.27 crore for the school.
Dr Ganai inaugurated the Computer Lab
established in the school, and announced Rs 5 lakh and a water cooler out of
her Constituency Development Fund for the school.
During her extensive tour of the
Sawjian and Gagrian, Dr Ganai met various deputations in the area. She
announced hand pump out of her Constituency Development Fund. She also
announced Rs 2 lakh for the foot bridge at Gagrian, and Rs 2 lakh for Foot
Bridge at Pari Bazar at Mandi, out of her Constituency Development Fund and
urged the authorities to complete the bridges at the earliest, so that the
people who face hardships get relief.
