DC takes stock of infrastructural facilities at Chakan –da– Bagh TFC

POONCH, JUNE 17:  Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Tariq Ahmed Zarger convened a meeting today to review the progress on ongoing works being carried out by different executing agencies for developing infrastructure facilities at trade facilitation Chakan –da –Bagh.

The meeting discussed various other issues in length including security, customs, immigration,  adequate power  and water supply so that traders and   guests don’t face any inconvenience.

It was informed in the meeting that the work on parking place for sixty heavy vehicles is nearing completion and only the work of mettle shingle is pending while ninety percent  work of compound wall is completed  and construction of 50 bedded (G+2) barrack with kitchen and two room for X-RAYS machines in the existing gowdon hall is at full pace .

The Deputy Commissioner directed the executing agencies to pace up the ongoing works  so that  required infrastructural facilities on modern line be made available at trade facilitation center for the smooth conduct  of trade and travel.

The DC said that the issue of full truck body scanner , installation of telephone fax/ broadband internet facilities at TFC will be taken up with higher authorities for early  redressal of these issues 

The meeting was attended by SSP Rajiv kumar Panday, Custodian Trade Center  Tanveer Ahamed Khan,  Dy.SP Security Tufail Mir , Dy.SP Hqr  Shaid Naieem, Custom Officer, Immigration Officer , besides AEEs of PWD,PHE and PDD.
