RAMBAN, JUNE 17: Additional Deputy
Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana today reviewed the arrangements for the smooth
conduct of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, 2017.
ACR,
CEO,CMO, Tehsildars, Xens of PHE, PDD and district officers of
various departments and concerned agencies were present in the meeting.
ADC directed the representatives of National Highway Authorities to install
the signboards bearing important contact numbers along the national highway
besides its proper upkeep for smooth vehicular movement.
ADC directed the Tehsildars to conduct frequent visits alongwith
checking teams at Langer sites for ensuring sanitation, hygienic food and
proper fire safety arrangements.
ADC directed all the concerned officers for putting in place
arrangements for proper healthcare, availability of ambulance, uninterrupted
water and power supply, sanitation and road maintenance for smooth passage of
vehicles during yatra. The concerned officers were instructed to act promptly
for avoiding any traffic jam in the area which may discomfort the pilgrims.
ADC directed the SRTC department to make available spare buses and
recovery vans with requisite machinery at identified locations to meet any
emergency.
He directed the concerned departments to maintain close coordination
with Yatra control room for providing timely help and services to the Yatris.
