SRINAGAR, JUNE 21: The enforcement squad of FCS&CA
department conducted extensive market checking at various areas in the Srinagar
city over the course of last week, recovering a fine of Rs 41,300.
The team led by Deputy Director (Enf) conducted inspections at Hawal,
Badamwari, Hazratbal, Lal Bazar, Bagi Ali, Mardan, Dalgate, Boulvard, Shivpora,
zero bridge, Raj Bagh, Lal Chowk, MA Road, HMT market among other areas.
During
market checking, multiple business establishments were fined for violations of
the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 and a penal sum of Rs 41,300 was collected
as fine from erring shopkeepers.
