REASI, JUNE 2:Taking serious note of absenteeism one Junior Engineer was placed under suspension while three others working at Pouni, Katra and Salal were served show cause notices for not maintaining their duty roaster and movement register
The Executive Engineer has also been asked to explain his position for not ensuring proper working and punctuality of the subordinate staff as a result of which service delivery system is affected
Later the DDC also visited office of Executive Engineer Civil where strict instructions were passed to the employees for remaining available in their jurisdiction and not leaving head quarters without proper permission besides maintaining proper movement registers.
The DDC has directed SDMs of and Tehsil dard of Katra, Dharmari and Mahore to monitor the functioning of PHE department so that general public does not suffer in peak summer season.
