Rajouri adm to organize 25 Medical Camps commencing from July 6

RAJOURI, JUNE 27: Continuing its mass outreach programme for service delivery under J&K Public Service Guarantee Act and for redressing public grievances on issues related to Health, District Administration Rajouri has notified 25 Medical Camps across the district, commencing from July 06.

The camps to be held under the guidance and supervision of District Development Commissioner, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary will be supervised and attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner (Rev), Sub-Divisional Magistrates beside senior officers of departments of Health & Family Welfare and Social Welfare.

Besides redressing public grievances on issues related to Health, complaints about functioning of field health institutions and encroachment of hospitals' land, services under J&K Public Service Guarantee Act including Medical Fitness Certificates, Old Age, and Widow Certificates will also be provided in these camps.

The DDC has also instructed for joint verification of existing beneficiaries under various pension schemes by Social Welfare and Health departments and has asked for processing fresh cases of pension under various categories in these camps.

Tehsil Social Welfare Officers and Social Workers of Social Welfare department have been asked to liaise with Health department to verify existing pensioners under OAP/PCP categories. They will also process fresh cases of pension of the genuine beneficiaries under relevant categories against weeded-out cases in these camps.

The Medical camps will be held on 4th July  at Khanyalkote, on  6th July  at Panchayat Ghar Devak and Panjah, on 7th July  at Niabat Chingus and Narla, on 8th July at HSS Bhawani, on 12th July at Panchayat Ghar Sayal, on 15th July at HSS Lamberi, Dodasanbala, Khah, Middle School Khargala and Gura Top Tourism Park Fatehpur, on 19th July at Dak Bunglow Darhal, on 20th July at HS Qila Darhal, High School Boys Siote, Niabat Budhal and Panchayat Ghar Rajdhani, on 22nd July at Azamtabad and High School Ghallan, on 27th July at TRC Kotli and High School Peili, on 30th July at HS Potha, on 31st July at Tehsil Office Khawas, Lah and Panchayat Ghar Treru.

          On these occasions, the people will also be educated about Centrally Sponsored Schemes like Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Paradhan Mantri Surakshit Matriva Abhiyan (PMSMA), JSSK, JSY payments in addition to checkups, antenatal checkups, display of IEC materials, booklets, drugs etc.

          Block Medical Officers have been directed to utilize the services of Medical Officers and also tie up with In-charge Medical Board Rajouri to provide Medical Certificates and other relevant health services at people's doorsteps.

          Block Medical Officers, Medical Officers, Community Health Officers, Tehsil Social Welfare Officers, Social Workers of Social Welfare department, Record Keepers (Pharmacist), Block ASHA Coordinators, RBSK teams, ANMs and ASHAs will attend the camps in respective areas.
