1150 patients examined; free medicines distributed
POONCH, APRIL 24: District Development Commissioner Poonch, Mohammad Aijaz Asad today inaugurated medical outreach camp at Arai in tehsil Mandi of the district.
CMO Poonch Dr Mumtaz Bhatti Deputy CMO Dr Shamim, BMO Mandi Dr Mushtaq and staff of Health Department were present on the occasion.
During the camp, 1150 patients were examined, 272 lab tests were conducted and 60 disability certificates were issued to handicapped people by Health department.
 Speaking on the occasion, the DDC said that the aim of organizing medical camp was to provide specialized medical services at the doorstep of the people especially to differently abled people. He informed that such outreach medical camps would be held at remote areas of district at regular intervals in future.
CMO Poonch said that medical camps in far flung areas are being held on directions of the district administration.



DODA APRIL 24: In connection with the celebration of 29th road safety week 2018, a medical cum eye check up was organized today by Motor Vehicle Department in collaboration with Health Department and Army over the theme "Sadak Suraksha Jeevan Raksha" at General Bus stand here.
The camp inaugurated by Dr. Wajid Ali Najar, Chief Medical Officer Doda. ARTO Doda Zubair Ahmed, Motor Vehicle Inspectors and other staff of MVD, Doctors from District Hospital, Army and union leaders were present on the occasion.
During the camp, various doctors especially ophthalmic (eye) surgeon examined 300 drivers and tested their vision and other health related problems.
Assistant Regional Transport Officer Doda, Zubair Ahmed emphasised upon the drivers for their good health for averting road accidents and loss of precious life.
Dr. Wajid Ali Najar, CMO Doda on the occasion advised the drivers to always keep a medical/first aid kit in their vehicles with necessary medicines which are very important as in case of accidents.



BANDIPORA, MARCH 27:   A two-day training programme-cum-medical camp for professional drivers, conductors and the general public was organized by Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Bandipora, Mohammad Mukhtar at Nusoo General Bus Stand here today. 
The programme was also attended by officials of Health Department, SDRF and MVD.
The participants were imparted training with regard to first aid and rescue operation . Medical checkup of drivers and conductors was also conducted on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the ARTO impressed upon the drivers to adhere to provisions of Motor Vehicles Act in letter and spirit. 
Inspector MVD Mohammad Yunus spoke about the Motor Vehicle Act and road safety measures on the occasion.


RAJOURI OCTOBER 31: The Health Department under the supervision of Chief Medical Officer Rajouri Dr. Suresh Sharma organised a medical camp for the jail inmates of District Jail.
Superintendent Jail Mohd Rafiq and other officers were present on the occasion.
On spot medical prescription and dietary advice to the prisoners, screened and suffering from Hypertension and diabetes.
Further blood samples and Sputum Specimen were taken for clinical investigation to roll out possibility of prisoners suffering from Tuberculosis.

Later, a cultural programme was also organised by the jail authorities in which local artists performed.


RAJOURI, JUNE 27: Continuing its mass outreach programme for service delivery under J&K Public Service Guarantee Act and for redressing public grievances on issues related to Health, District Administration Rajouri has notified 25 Medical Camps across the district, commencing from July 06.
The camps to be held under the guidance and supervision of District Development Commissioner, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary will be supervised and attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner (Rev), Sub-Divisional Magistrates beside senior officers of departments of Health & Family Welfare and Social Welfare.

 services to people at their doorstep’
Besides redressing public grievances on issues related to Health, complaints about functioning of field health institutions and encroachment of hospitals' land, services under J&K Public Service Guarantee Act including Medical Fitness Certificates, Old Age, and Widow Certificates will also be provided in these camps.
The DDC has also instructed for joint verification of existing beneficiaries under various pension schemes by Social Welfare and Health departments and has asked for processing fresh cases of pension under various categories in these camps.
Tehsil Social Welfare Officers and Social Workers of Social Welfare department have been asked to liaise with Health department to verify existing pensioners under OAP/PCP categories. They will also process fresh cases of pension of the genuine beneficiaries under relevant categories against weeded-out cases in these camps.
The Medical camps will be held on 4th July  at Khanyalkote, on  6th July  at Panchayat Ghar Devak and Panjah, on 7th July  at Niabat Chingus and Narla, on 8th July at HSS Bhawani, on 12th July at Panchayat Ghar Sayal, on 15th July at HSS Lamberi, Dodasanbala, Khah, Middle School Khargala and Gura Top Tourism Park Fatehpur, on 19th July at Dak Bunglow Darhal, on 20th July at HS Qila Darhal, High School Boys Siote, Niabat Budhal and Panchayat Ghar Rajdhani, on 22nd July at Azamtabad and High School Ghallan, on 27th July at TRC Kotli and High School Peili, on 30th July at HS Potha, on 31st July at Tehsil Office Khawas, Lah and Panchayat Ghar Treru.
          On these occasions, the people will also be educated about Centrally Sponsored Schemes like Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Paradhan Mantri Surakshit Matriva Abhiyan (PMSMA), JSSK, JSY payments in addition to checkups, antenatal checkups, display of IEC materials, booklets, drugs etc.
          Block Medical Officers have been directed to utilize the services of Medical Officers and also tie up with In-charge Medical Board Rajouri to provide Medical Certificates and other relevant health services at people's doorsteps.
          Block Medical Officers, Medical Officers, Community Health Officers, Tehsil Social Welfare Officers, Social Workers of Social Welfare department, Record Keepers (Pharmacist), Block ASHA Coordinators, RBSK teams, ANMs and ASHAs will attend the camps in respective areas.



RAJOURI, JUNE 23: With an effort to supplement the existing health care available to the populace, Health Department organized multiple Medical and Old Age Certificate camps at  Jamia  mosque  Darhal over the course of Holy month of Ramdan.
These medical camps organized free of charge enabled residenst of Darhal and adjoining areas to avail medical facalities at their door steps
Speaking on the occasion, BMO Darhal Dr Iqbal Malik said till date at least 257 poor people were provided with old age certificates for pension, in addition to the camps organized previously. He assured the masses that similar camps would be organized in future.  

A team of Doctors, Dr. Sadia, Dr Vibhakar Datta, Dental Surgeon Dr Ajaz Dr. Liaqat Ch, Mohd younis, Head Pharmacist, Mohd Liaquat Pharmacist, Mohammad Kabir, Mohammad Anwar N/O and others rendered their services, during the course of camp.
