Secy PHE for ensuring uninterrupted water supply during Eid

SRINAGAR, JUNE 22: Secretary, PHE and I&FC Departments, Saurabh Bhagat, Thursday instructed the Chief Engineers PHE to make arrangements to provide uninterrupted water supply to the public during the Eid-ul-Fitr.

He has also instructed the Chief Engineers to ensure that grievance cells at their, SE and divisional levels remain functional 24X7.

The CEs have also been directed to keep standby machinery available at critical stations so that no inconvenience is faced by the public.

Instructions have also been issued in regard to keeping tanker services in a ready state to meet any exigency.
