BANDIPORA, JUNE 28: In order to discuss various issues with regard to special drive to enroll leftover electors, a meeting of ERO's and AERO's was held here with Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora in the chair. Nodal officer 'SVEEP' G M Lone was also present.
The officers on the occasion were directed to conduct meeting with BLO's within their jurisdiction to make aware of special drive and giving focus on first time within the age group of 18-21 years.
The ADC impressed upon the officers to strictly follow the guidelines of ECI. He said that the BLO's shall visit door to door of the households to collect forms from the applicants particularly in the age group of 18-21 years as on January 01, 2017 as qualifying date.
He also stressed for organizing a special campaign in the month of July as per the schedule at the polling stations where BLO's shall receive forms from applicants.
Nodal officer SVEEP was directed to organize SVEEP program in educational institutions for awareness about the importance of enrollment and various benefits of Epic.
